There are news I'd rather never have to report. I'm so angry, it takes everything I have not to let it show on the air.

What have I done? He's a bloody monster and I offer him an interview! When did I think offering myself as his next meal was a good idea?

If he accepts, I need backup. Floo call interview, not in person - unless there's no other choice. Absolutely NOT alone, whatever he says. It's a breaking point, if he insists, I say no and that's the end of it. I'd need to ask Pepper - and probably Alice and Frank and Benjy (oh no, he's still injured, I hope he's getting better) - about ways to control him, defensive spells, things like that. Maybe ask one of them to be there with me? Even with a Floo call interview, you never know if he'll decide to just Floo in entirely and that'd be bad.

And there's no way I let anyone else taking this over. If my boss even hints at getting someone else to do it in my place, I'll say he agreed to me and only me, whether it's true or not. I'm only risking this for my career's sake, so there's no way I'd let anyone else take it away from me.

What the hell am I thinking doing this?

I can't tell Rita, she'd have my hide for this. Any of them, really : they'd all think I've lost my mind, and I'm not entirely sure they wouldn't be right.

Professor Dumbledore's proposed bill is ambitious. I'm curious to see what reaction it will garner, for even Muggles attempts to pass such 'Bill of Rights' have been met with some opposition, in the various countries that currently have or are trying to adopt such legislation. Which rights should be included, which groups protected, to what extent... it is a vast ethical issue that promises to be interesting.

I'd already finished my shift last night when news came of the attack on Hogsmeade, so for once I got to listen to the news like everyone else and I must say I'm glad I didn't have to report it myself. It would have been terribly difficult to keep a steady voice while reporting such horrors. My sympathy to anyone who's lost family or friends in this senseless attack.

If anyone ever suggest that I sing at a Quidditch game again, hit me with a strong enough hex that I'll be out of it until it's too late.

The WWN had a publicity stunt at the Quidditch match between the Caerphilly Catapults and the Wigtown Wanderers today. All WWN hosts and news casters were there and we had to sing both teams songs.

Never again.

Never ever.




Oh, and by the way, you probably all know, but the Wanderers won.
